Honey Bee Healthy's 5+NPA Active Manuka Honey is perfect to maintain good health. This is the start of the medicinal grade honey and can act as an immunity booster as well as giving you vitality and youthful energy, maintaining health and reducing harmful bacteria. Assists in destroying the bacteria that causes mouth and throat infections. Excellent for treating coughs and colds.
- HBH's 5+ NPA Active Manuka Honey is perfect for beauty treatments, known for improving skin tone and texture. the light crystallisation makes it an effective exfoliant whilst the antibacterial properties kill the germs before blemishes show their ugly heads.
- Mix 1/2 teaspoon HBH 5+ Active Manuka Honey with 1 teaspoon Natural Yoghurt and apply to face after cleansing. Leave 30-60 minutes or until dried into the skin. As you rinse it off gently scrub in circular motions to exfoliate. Leaves skin soft and moistened.

What is Active (Australian Manuka) Honey?
Active Honey has an antibacterial component, Methyglyoxal, that sets it apart from other honeys. Do not heat Active Honey, as this could destroy the good enzymes. This is why all HBH Honey is Pure and Raw. Bioactive antibacterial 'Manuka' honey is made by bees that gather nectar from varieties of Leptospermum (Jellybush) flower. It's antibacterial properties are directly relative to its Methylglyoxal levels rather than relying on peroxide to destroy bacteria as in other honeys. HBH uses MGO (Methylglyoxal) readings to classify all its Active products, in order for consumers to accurately compare brands and products.
Remember- check the MGO level when buying Active Honey!! 83MGO means 83 parts per million Methylgyoxal. The higher this reading the stronger the Medicinal qualities.
